PSHP 2026 Residency Conference has ended

Platform Sessions

All residents must bring a jump/USB drive containing their platform presentation to the conference. Residents are required to upload their presentation onto the specific room’s laptop PRIOR to the start of their session. Laptops will be available in session rooms (Pavilion Hub West & East and Broad Hub West & East) starting at 8am both mornings, please plan accordingly. Please avoid special fonts that are not easily transferrable in your presentation. Each PGY1 & PGY2 resident presenting a platform will have 10-12 minutes to present followed by a max of 5 minutes of Q/A. There are 20 minutes allotted for each platform to allow for transition time between speakers. All presentations are platform style for both PGY1 and PGY2 residents. Be certain to search for your name and update your SCHED profile.

Preceptors

Every preceptor & pearl presenter attending the conference has been assigned either a moderator or evaluator role during a resident platform session. Please check SCHED to see your session or refer to the full schedule searchable in excel that was emailed to you on 5/8/26.  Moderator scripts will be available onsite. If you are evaluating in the session where your resident is presenting, kindly switch roles with the moderator for that presentation. Be certain to search for your name in SCHED and update your profile. Moderator scripts will be available onsite.

Platform Evaluations

We encourage every resident and preceptor attending the conference to attend as many platform presentations as possible to maximize the audience participation and show appreciation for each resident’s countless hours of effort associated with their project. The platform evaluation form will be available electronically via QR code at the event. All completed evaluation forms will be emailed out to programs at the conclusion of the conference.

Resident Awards

To foster excellence in research, the Top 20% of abstracts from both PGY1 & PGY2 resident submissions were selected by a panel of preceptors. PGY1 Residents whose abstracts were scored in the Top 20% of abstract submissions by the Steer Committee blinded judges will be notified by tomorrow, as they should be prepared for a possible encore presentation as a Top 3 finalist during the last session of the conference on Tuesday from 3:00-4:00pm. All PGY2 resident abstracts were considered for a PGY2 Poster of Distinction Award by a panel of PGY2 preceptors and awardees from PGY2 submissions will also be announced during the last session of the conference on Tuesday from 3:00-4:00pm. As a reminder, all presentations are platform style for PGY1& PGY2 residents.
